I had a really hard time finding a photo of myself from 10 years ago for the #glowupchallenge #10yearchallenge on my phone. I also hated taking pictures of myself and as you can see had a very self-conscious smile 😩😆..one thing I can certainly say is that I’ve come a long way when it comes to being comfortable in my own skin and not caring too much of what other people think. Getting older is great! And although you may have the glow of youth when you are younger, when you are older you have confidence which is everything! #howharddidaginghituchallenge

In my pursuit of a minimalist lifestyle I have been trying to be good for the past year or so by not buying multiples of things I already have. Ngl I haven’t achieved success in all areas but overall have been pretty good... However, when my hubby offered to treat me to the Miss Dior gift set.. 😍I half heartedly tried to resist but then gave in ☺️.... I had already tried it the day before and had felt addicted to the sweet floral scent. The entire day whenever I got a whiff of it, I instantly cheered up. It does feel a bit strong when you first try it on but is very long lasting. Thoroughly recommend it, the perfumed body lotion is a bit more sweeter absorbs easily and good idea to layer on for even longer lasting scent. 2019 is here and I’m not making any resolutions as such...Sticking to goals that I’m already pursuing don’t feel the need to reset along with the new year...maybe that’s just me. I tend to make goals according to my own timeline, that might be scheduled around life events, travel plans and my mood lol. In other news, my love of flowers continues and I was super happy that my sis-in-law @jemma_003 chose @feyacafe to treat me and mum to a girls’ day out. Loved the pink and grey and gold colour scheme along with the tasty hot chocolate and peanut butter topped pancakes and berry waffles with edible flowers. Later I discovered they had Arabic coffee as well (it’s not on the menu) which I’d wish I’d ordered as it smelled amazing! This is one of those places that doesn’t disappoint as it both looks great and the food melts in your mouth too.
